The camp program is a large part of Warwick Equestrian's year. Pride is taken on providing a relaxed atmosphere that it is sensitive to each camper needs and riding levels.
Our camp format has been very successful. It is designed for the horse lover 7 to 14 years of age. Enrollment is kept small and campers are well supervised in a safe and friendly environment. Camp starts at 9 am and finishes at 4 pm. Early drop offs and late pick-ups can be arranged.
During the day campers will take part in a variety of activities. Lots of hands-on horse topics are covered, time is allowed for crafts, and campers will receive two riding lessons daily on safe well-trained horses from a qualified instructor.
Riders must wear properly fitted helmets with harnesses and footwear with a heel when mounted. Helmets and boots are available for the camper to use at Warwick Equestrian at no extra charge.
Summer camps have an added fun feature where campers are invited to sleep over on the Thursday night to enjoy a BBQ and a bonfire. On Friday breakfast and a lunch is served and our day is over early at 2 pm.
